Early Medieval Period

The Early Medieval Period, spanning the late stage of the "Early Medieval" era (roughly 750–1200 CE). It was characterized by fragmented regional kingdoms, Rajput dominance in the north, the declining ⁠Chola Empire in the south, and the onset of major Ghurid invasions that shifted power toward the Delhi Sultanate.
